Day 1

Arrival Hanoi (Meal: No)

Arrive Hanoi airport, you will be greet and meet by our tour guide and then transfer to hotel for check-in.

Overnight in Hanoi.



Day 2

Hanoi (Meal: B,L,D)


Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam, one of the most cultural city of Vietnam. Today you will visit some history place to know much more about the 1,000 years Thang Long – Ha Noi be created and developed.

Firstly visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, his house on stilt, the botanical garden and the Presidential palace while learning about his life and revolutionary activities.

On the way out visit One Pillar pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple. Take the 1 hour cyclo tour around the Old quarter through its streets which are named after the guilds that used to represent such as Hang Bac (Silver Street), Hang Gai (Silk Street), Hang Tre (Bamboo Street) etc…

*Arrange on available: we will join a social activities call “Street Singing” with the Hanoi young generation seating on the street and singing together with guitars (this is often organised on Sunday daily from 4pm to 7pm, depend on weather and on request).

Day 3

Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi // (Meal: B,L,D)

Today, drive 3 hours to Halong Bay, one of Vietnam’s impressive tourist hotspot that comprises of about 3000 limestone islands rising from the clear and emerald water. The sails of junks and sampans gliding along the bay forms magnificent picturesque scenery that blends in with the sky. You will get to visit some of the hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs (4 hours visiting). Lunch on board.

Then, back to hotel in Hanoi. On the way you will visit Hanoi S.O.S village (Alley 1, Pham Van Dong Road, Mai Dich Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi) to do some charity activities with the uphappy children.

Day 4: Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An // (Meal: B,L)  

Taking domestic flight to Danang. On arrival, our tour guide will take you to visit Da Nang Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin. After that, transfer to hotel in Hoi An check-in.

Day 5

Hoi An // (Meal: B,L)

Using a Hoi An Eco tour call “Wet Rice Farmer” to experience more Vietnamese traditional local life. (Join-In Tour)

– Starting biking to the countryside throughout the rice paddle, enjoy the fresh air with the nature.

– Meeting the local farmer, talking with them about their local farming daily life, having a cup of tea with them at the middle of the rice paddle field farm.

– Wearing farming clothes before getting into muddy rice field like: Vietnamese authentic and traditional farmer clothes, conical hat, boost …etc …

– Listening to the tour guide introduced and explained about the process of the wet rice how to grow it.

– Starting the farming works to learn how to grow wet rice with water buffalo plough, use agricultural water system.

– Transplanting rice at the rice field.

– Enjoy riding with water buffalo at a small pond at the rice farm

– Having a local meal with the local farmer at their house. After, biking back to hotel.

Day 6


Hoi An // (Meal: B,L,D)

Our guide will pick up you  at hotel in Hoi An and transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town for visiting any 1 site of 4 categories:

  1. A) Historical and Cultural Museum, or Trade Ceramics Museum, or Sa Huynh Museum.
  2. B) Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, or Cantonese Assembly Hall, or Trieu Chau Assembly Hall.
  3. C) Quang Thang house, or Tan Ky house, or Phung Hung house, or Tran Family Chapel.
  4. D) Quan Cong Mieu Temple or Japanese Covered Bridge.

Having lunch at local restaurant.

Then transfer to Bach Dang Quay to take a boat trip on Thu Bon river to visit Handicraff Village, Kim Bong Village and Thanh Ha Village within 3 hours. After tour, transfer back to hotel.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7

Hoi An – Da Nang – HCMC // (Meal: B,L,D)

After breakfast at your hotel and you are free till airport transfer. Today, you will have a flight to Ho Chi Minh city and stay overnight at the most touristic area of Ho Chi Minh City.

A sightseeing tour will take you visit some of most famous history sites such as: War Museum, Reunification Palace, Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall, Opera House where you will learn more about the Saigonese cultural.

Doing some social activities in Ho Chi Minh city of Youth Cultural House or play a football game with amateur football club in HCMC.

Overnight in HCMC.


Day 8

HCMC – Mekong // (Meal: B,L,D)

Transfer to Vinh Long in the early morning. Boarding a boat to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay. Then, we visit nursery garden for you to contact the real famous farmers – Mr Tiger or his son who is very successful in Vietnam agriculture. We will enjoy some kinds of fruits from his garden & homemade rice wine.

The rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish.

Have some fruits and tea when enjoying the traditional music at Ut Trinh home.

Check in Ut Trinh home-stay (or other home-stay on An Binh Island).

Day 9

Mekong – HCMC // (Meal: B,L,D)

Have early breakfast and have a boat trip to Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how to make rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn …
It is so interesting to visit the handicraft village where you can see how they make some special products: making rice-net for spring-rolls, fish sauce & Soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage roof…The cruise will end at Cai Be town. Back to HCMC.

Day 10

HCMC – Cu Chi – Departure // (Meal: B,L)

This morning, you will visit Cu Chi Tunnel – an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese soldiers during the struggle for independence. Stretching over 200km, this tunnel network, dug by hand, connected shelters, posts, hospitals and weapon bunkers…

Cu Chi Tunnels today looks like an outdoor museum. You can walk through the area and learn about the life of VC, face the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby-traps…

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant by the riverside. Then the bus will bring us to Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Station. This station is home of many species, such as: some kinds of turtles, bears, pythons, gibbons, lizards… It rescues animals that are confiscated from the illegal animal trade in Saigon and other provinces nearby. This place is the first multi-species rescue station in the South of Vietnam that can take care of several endangered wild species. When the animals recovered, they are returned back to the wild.

After tour, straight forward to airport for the flight home.

End of journey.
